Trump’s decision to cancel his climate agreement with the rest of the world could mean a loss of billions of dollars in future U.N. climate aid and economic growth.

The White House says Trump will announce a “very short period” between his announcement and his decision on canceling the deal in the coming weeks.

Trump, who has called climate change a hoax, has previously called the Paris deal a “disaster” and a “terrible” deal.
