When will the next sea onion flower bloom?

When will there be a sea onion bloom?
That is the question the Jewish community is asking.
On Sunday, the Jewish National Fund (JNF) announced the first sea onion flowers will bloom in the Mediterranean Sea, in the northern town of Azzouna.
“We are asking that the sea onion be bloomed in a symbolic gesture,” the JNF said in a statement on Sunday.
“To us, sea onion is a symbol of peace and prosperity,” the statement said.
“We hope that people in the Jewish communities of Italy, France, and the Netherlands will join us in the coming days to remember the beauty and diversity of our oceans.”
Sea onions bloom as a “beautiful shade of red” in the spring.
Sea onions are commonly used as a symbol for peace and harmony, and have also been traditionally associated with the Jewish holiday of Shavuot.
