According to Chinese state media, the species of blue flower was spotted in the waters off Tianshuan island, on the eastern edge of the Pearl River Delta.
The sea flower is named for the blue flower, a native flower from East Asia.
It is the first blue flower spotted by a Taiwanese diver in the Pearl.
It was first spotted by the diver last month.
